What is 46tons?

46tons is a modern day tea shop focused on bringing tea from across the world from various cultures and heritages.


What does 46tons make?

We have created many delicious drinks based on different types of teas. We plan on releasing our drinks in the form of Tea Kits so that you can make our drinks at the comfort of your own home.


What is a Tea Kit?

A Tea Kit is a DIY box that includes the ingredients and recipe to make the drink of choice at home. The Kit will include the tea and syrup as well as drink-specific items that are necessary. Milk/Dairy will not be provided.


What will I need to have to make the drinks?

We want you to enjoy the tea as well as the tea making process. As such, our drinks may require a pot to make tea over a stove, a strainer to strain tea leaves, or a whisk to mix together ingredients. However, none standard kitchen utensils will not be required for any of the kits.


When will I get my kits?

We are a small shop and we are working ourselves to put the kits together. Our current plan is to make and ship the kits once a week based on demand.


What’s the return policy?

Please let us know if there are any issues with the kit and we will replace the order. We won’t be accepting tea kit returns since they are food and beverage.


Do we have Sugar Free Syrup?

All our syrups are based in sugar and at this time do not have a sugar free syrup. We suggest using our syrup for the intended taste however feel free to replace our syrup with a sugar alternative that you may have. 


I have food allergies. How can I check what ingredients are in your tea kits?

Each of our tea kits has a nutrition label on the specific product page. All the ingredients that we use are stated there. In case there are additional questions or concerns, feel free to reach out and we will do our best to answer questions.


Are you Tea Kits vegetarian?

All of our tea kits, including the snack gifts, are vegetarian.

 

Where do I store my tea kit ingredients?

Any spices and tea leaves can be stored in a dry environment and room temperature, such as a pantry or kitchen drawer. The syrup bottle should be refrigerated upon receipt of the box.
